The Vancouver Ice Dance Program offers unparalleled competitive training by experienced, educated coaches Megan Wing and Aaron Lowe (see CBC Sports video below). VIDA is unique in that all components of this comprehensive training program take place at one location: The Scotia Barn Canlan Ice Sports, under Joanne McLeod's Champs International Skating Centre of BC. Components of the VIDA program include both group and private lessons, off-ice dance classes, gym training, nutrition, physiotherapy, counseling, etc.

The consistent schedule and professional, organized program has resulted in the achievement of numerous national and international medals while still allowing skaters to pursue their education at top-ranked high schools and universities. Vancouver Ice Dance Academy's location in a thriving, cosmopolitan city is a tremendous asset for ice dancers. Vancouver is a major trade center, popular tourist destination and gateway to the Pacific Rim. The city is surrounded by water and mountains, making bridges, ferry boats, and snow-capped peaks part of everyday life.

VIDA ice dancers find that training with elite skaters from many countries including Canada, Finland, Japan and the United States provides a challenging and inspiring environment designed to help them achieve their goals.
